i love my dining room in its original state: white all around, airy, the perfect clean slate to apply a theme to for any dinner party. but i have been dreaming of something different for this room for about a year. finally, this week, we stripped the room, dragged a very talented friend/painter over and took the leap. i can’t wait for the finished product–there is still the matter of finding a sideboard and art, so i don’t have a real “after” picture to show you yet. but for now i can’t stop admiring the new walls! they have a little more drama now.
