I had to satisfy that craving for mushroom bolognese over the weekend. It hit the spot and, as usual, I had some sauce left over. Why did it never occur to me before to use any extras for sloppy joes? I hadn’t had one in decades (decades!) and they’re just as good as I remembered. Lunch yesterday was a heaping cup of bolognese on a soft kaiser with spicy pickled vegetables on the side.
